Hospitality brand wins big at Dubai global hotel awards

THE Lexis Hotel Group did the country proud by winning a “grand slam”.

At the recent Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards 2018 held at Palazzo Versace Dubai, the group won awards in four categories: Best Pool Villa; Best Pool Villa Resort; Best All Suite Resort; and Best New Resort.

The first two awards were won by Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson while its latest property – Lexis Suites Penang – swept the other two.

The glittering event saw top luxury hospitality brands from over 60 countries attending the red-carpet gala ceremony in Dubai.

It was hosted by Thai celebrity emcee Able Wanamakok, and attended by Abdullah Yousuf, senior manager of Dubai Business Events representing Dubai Tourism, Official Bespoke editor Nicolas Shammas andForbes Middle East managing editor Claudine Coletti.

Haute Grandeur founder and president Marinique de Wet said the awards were seen as a guaranteed golden stamp of excellence and served to inspire exceptional hotels, spas and restaurants to achieve even greater heights.

Lexis Hotel Group president Mandy Chew Siok Cheng said they were humbled and proud of the achievements.

Recognised as the most prestigious event on the luxury hospitality calendar, the Haute Grandeur Global Awards celebrate the best hospitality experiences, recognising the world’s most exceptional hotels, spas and restaurants.

Each year, top luxury hospitality brands vie for the accolade in overall excellence and its contribution to the industry.

Lexis Hotel Group is known for its award-winning unique water chalets as well as pool villas.

The group currently manages four properties, namely Lexis, Grand Lexis and Lexis Hibiscus, all located in the popular beach resort town of Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan and Lexis Suites Penang.
